ABOUT FRAMINGHAM STATE UNIVERSITY
Framingham State University was founded by Horace Mann in 1839 as the first state-supported institution of public higher education in the United States for the training of teachers. Located in Framingham, Massachusetts, a community 20 miles west of Boston, the University assists in fulfilling the workforce needs of the Commonwealth with an emphasis on the rapidly growing high technology and service region known as MetroWest. The University integrates liberal arts and science programs with a variety of professional programs at the Baccalaureate and Master's levels.

REAL WORLD PROJECT WITH A REAL WORLD COMPANY
Generating visualizations for a 3D printing company
Devising a database system for a retail startup
Creating an interactive cost calculator for an immigration support service.
During the Industry Project, you'll get the chance to work as a Student Consultant for a real company grappling with a real software or web problem. Our partner company will designate a Project Mentor, someone who will be working with you during the course, and you'll work in small teams with your classmates to develop a solution for the company.
